Acceptable Use Policy

What you may and may not do with GuardX. It applies to every account and every protected domain.

You may not use GuardX to

  • host, distribute or protect content that is illegal in France or in the EU, including child sexual abuse material, terrorist content, incitement to hatred or violence, and counterfeit goods;
  • run phishing, fraud, malware distribution, command-and-control servers, or credential-harvesting sites;
  • launch, relay or amplify attacks against third parties, or sell or operate stress-testing, “booter” or DDoS-for-hire services;
  • hide the origin of illegal activity or evade a legal order, a blocklist or another provider’s enforcement;
  • protect a domain you do not own or are not authorised to protect;
  • send traffic that is meant to degrade the GuardX platform, to probe other customers’ domains, or to bypass the limits of your plan;
  • scan or attack the platform without following our security disclosure rules;
  • resell the service in a way that hides your customers from us or breaks these terms.

What we may do

If we have reason to believe a domain breaks this policy, we may ask you for an explanation, rate-limit or suspend the domain, or close the account. For serious or urgent cases, such as phishing, malware or content that is plainly illegal, we may act at once. We may also pass information to the competent authorities when the law requires it or when someone’s safety is at risk.

Reporting

If you believe a site behind GuardX is abusing the service, tell us through the Report Abuse page.
