Under attack?
Your site is being flooded right now. Here is the fastest way to get it behind GuardX.
- Create an account or sign in. Sign up or log in, and choose a plan.
- Add your domain and the public address of your origin server.
- Point your DNS. Add a CNAME to
proxy.guardx.fr, and the TXT record shown for the certificate. Lower the TTL of the old record first if you can. - Raise the protection level. In Protection, switch to Under Attack Mode, or to captcha if the flood continues. Automatic mode does this for you.
- Lock the origin. Once the traffic goes through GuardX, restrict your server so it only accepts connections from GuardX addresses. An attacker who knows your server’s IP can otherwise bypass the protection.
Need a hand?
Email support@guardx.fr with the subject “Under attack”, the domain, and a few words on what you see (error codes, request rates, targeted URLs). We will help as fast as we can.
GuardX stops application-layer (HTTP/HTTPS) floods. Attacks that saturate your server’s network link before they reach any proxy have to be handled by your hosting provider.
